 Dear Bride-to-be:
Here's a summary of the features and benefits offered to you by the Power's Mansion Wedding & Events Center:
We have several wedding packages online. However, if you want to order "a la carte" here is the simple version of things.
We have a beautiful Victorian wedding site: You can choose to marry at: 1) The Queen Ann Victorian Gazebo underneath a 200 year old oak sitting on a knoll; Or, 2) The tropical paved garden with a waterfall. The price to use the wedding site for your wedding is $1,000.
Our luxurious reception ballroom seats up to 160. It comes with all the tables, chairs, linens, napkins, water glasses, wine glasses, fine china and silverware. We set it up for you and we clean up after you. The price to use the wedding reception hall is $1,500. We have 2 in-house chefs who will provide you with any style meal you’d like at very reasonable prices. Or, if you prefer, contact us regarding your favorite caterer and we can discuss options available.
We also have a 15 room, 16.5 bathrooms beautiful Queen Ann Victorian Mansion that we run as a bed and breakfast and tea parlor. So, we can provide accommodations for your family and friends attending your wedding.
Finally, I don’t know if you know this (you may have seen us at a recent wedding show), but we have a program that actually helps with raising money for your wedding. For $4,500, you can have use of the entire Mansion facility (All guest rooms, our beautiful wedding site (Victorian Gazebo and Tropical Waterfall areas) and the luxurious reception hall from 1:00pm the day of your wedding until the next day 10:30am. This includes a gourmet breakfast for every guest.
By Wedding Etiquette Standards, you as the bride are not required to pay for your guests accommodations. As such, we suggest that you inform your friends that you have reserved rooms for anyone who wants to stay at the Mansion after your wedding. We then, act as your "Reservations Agent" and help you sell all the Mansion rooms to all your friends and guests at market rate (e.g. $2,800/night for 14 rooms, you keep the honeymoon suite). Let your friends and family stay at the Mansion, and we apply the $2,800 you raised towards the cost of both wedding sites and the reception hall. We are also offering a special program to couples who book the entire facility. We throw in all the wedding planning and coordination for only an additional $500 (Usually a $1,500 program). I hope this is clear to you. You get the whole facility and your wedding fully planned and coordinated for $5,000 (and all your friends and guests staying at the Mansion pay for your wedding site)!
